MARKET NEWS:

new location and additional day!

On July 4th, as part of the Village's Independence Day celebrations, we moved up the street to the vacant lot now owned by the Belgrade Lakes Association as part of the very cool Docks to Doorways initiative.  We've been invited to a permanent home on this lot once the funds are raised and the Maine Lakes Resource Center is built on the site of the derelict foundation, and the Docks to Doorways folks encouraged us to use the lot this summer too.  It's great!  Grassy, more room, and space for shoppers to sit in the shade down by Mill Stream.  And, you can come by boat from Great Pond or Long Pond (the latter if you dock at the Village Inn).

Plus, we can now respond to our customers' comment "Wish you were here twice a week!" We're starting a Thursday afternoon market (2-6 pm) with a group of our vendors who are free that day. We'll have plenty of vegetables, seafood, meats, cheese, pies, maple syrup, and more for your midweek shopping, and the hours are set to accommodate the on-the-way-home-from-work stop.  And, of course, our Sunday market with all of our vendors will continue as well.

We're so excited about bringing you more local food and farm products.
Eating locally is also your chance to eat seasonally -- come and see!
