On their vintage farm just four miles from the Market,  Ellen and Sue grow mixed vegetables, fruits, and flowers on their adjoining homesteads.  They specialize in very fresh salad greens, a wide variety of vegetables, and culinary herbs, all grown organically, with an eye to the unusual and beautiful.  (Buttermilk Hill Farm vegetables and flowers have brought home blue ribbons from the Common Ground Country Fair.) Ellen makes delicious homemade fruit pies, and Sue brings fresh cut flowers to make into custom and lasting bouquets.    

With requests from several customers for vegetables more than once a week, Sue and Ellen are starting a small subscription CSA for midweek vegetables with pickup at the farm: click here to find out more.
